Hey there! 👋! I'm Pranami, and I'm so excited to welcome you to The Scribbled Schema. This blog is my little corner of the internet where I share my journey as an aspiring data analyst, my learning experiences, and the insights I've gathered along the way.
What You'll Find Here
I’ll be posting about:
✅ Learning Diary: Concepts I’m exploring in data analytics.
✅ Project Showcases: Walkthroughs of projects I’ve worked on — like my Data Quality Analysis project during my internship at IDEAS @ ISI Kolkata, my solo projects, group projects.
✅ Small Business Stories: Insights from helping my father’s business grow online.
✅ Reflections & Growth: Personal experiences, wins, and lessons I gather along the way.
Why this Blog?
The idea for this blog started with my growing curiosity about data analytics. As I explored SQL, Power BI, Pivot Tables, charts, Machine Learning and various data concepts, I realized that learning isn't always neat and structured—sometimes, it's a series of messy scribbles that eventually form something meaningful.
Beyond analytics, I’ve also been helping my father’s jewellery and handicraft business go digital. From product photography to writing descriptions and engaging with customers online, this experience has been a whole new learning curve. With this blog, I hope to capture both my data journey and the lessons I’ve learned from stepping into the world of small business marketing.
Why ‘The Scribbled Schema’?
The name reflects my belief that learning isn’t always linear. Just like data schemas define structure in databases, my learning journey is full of rough ideas, mistakes, and messy notes — yet each scribble adds to the bigger picture.
Conclusion
This is my first time using Hashnode, and I'm still finding my way around the interface and learning the shortcuts. It feels exciting yet a little overwhelming — but hey, that's part of the journey! I’d love to hear from you! Being a newbie in this field I am eager to get insights about how things are done as a data analyst and I will be sharing my baby steps with you all. Feel free to drop a comment, share your thoughts, or simply say hi.
Here’s to learning, growing, and embracing the scribbles along the way! 🚀
